This tip works on any version of Photoshop including Elements. Similar programs will do similar things.

Common Mistake #1

When you are digital scrapbooking you need to see several files at once so you can drag your papers, embellishments and pictures together. When you open multiple files you should be able to see all of the files at the same time like what is shown below.

You can move the files around so you can see them better by clicking and dragging the blue bar above each of the pictures. The bar may or may not be blue for you depending on the version of Photoshop you have.

It's common for people to open two or more files and get frustrated because they can't see all the files at once like this:

Notice in the picture above there is no blue line above the picture so you can move it around the screen? The reason this has happened is because the file is maximized. You need to look in the top right hand corner of the screen and click on the bottom restore down button as shown below. That's it. Your problem is solved.
